Amboseli National Park
Located in the Southern region of Kenya in loitoktok district. The park got its name from a local word in maasai language meaning “salty dusty place” it covers an area of 392sqkms and it is heavenely endowed with large herds of elephants making it best place in Africa to get up-closed free ranging elephants Boosts of various species of mammals like Lions elephants, wildebeest, leopard, zebras, Hippo, Giraffe, Hyenas, cheetahs,wild dogs,hartebeests.,dik-dik ,kudus, jackals, bat-eared foxes, fringe-eared Oryx, long-necked gerenuks, serval, warthogs and yellow baboon, The park also has various bird species of about 400 species including pelicans,crakes,kingfishers,liltrotters,egrets,hammerkops,rare,Madagascar squaco,among other.
Lake Naivasha
Also known as “sheer Adventure” is located in the south Western region along the Great Rift Valley floor. The park was established in 1995 and it covers an area of 140sqkm.The park is blessed with over 100 mammal species including giraffes, waterbucks, zebras, hippos, buffalos and over 350 species of birds including flamingos, weaver birds ,gonolek, African fish eagles, palearctic duck oxyura red-knobbed coot little greb, African spoonbill, marabstock, kingfishers, herons, porzana pullisa among others.
Maasai Mara National Reserve
Located in the South Western region along the Great Rift Valley area in Norok County Kenya adjacent to Tanzania’s Serengeti National Park .Maasai Mara National Reserve was established in 1961 as awildliofe sanctuary covering over an area of 520 sqkms of the current Mara Ttriangle. Later it was converted into a Game Reserve and by 1984 the park had atotal area 1510sqkms. The park is dotted with acacia trees,shrubs and bushes and has 2 draining rivers which are Masaai Mara River and Talek River. A unique wildlife conservation haven famous for its Natural diversity of wildlife like the Big 5 mammals which are lions Leopards, Elephants,Buffaloes and Rhios in large numbers as well as other mammals like cheetahs,zebras,wildebeests,crocodiles,hippos,giraffes, dulkers, impala,hartebeests, roan antelopes,topi wildebeest and Thomason’s gazellas.
Also boosts of over 500 birds species like bateleur secretary bird,schawlows,turaco,Abdim’s stork, hammerrkops, Temminck’s couser, Southern ground hornbill,Usambira barbet Saddle-billed stock Giant Kingfisher,woolly-necked stork, Black-headed heron,Giant Kingfisher,African jacana,Crowened lapwing.Malachite Kingfisher,Grey-headed kingfisher among others. The 9 days safaris to Kenya Maasai Mara & Zanzibar Extension will start with pickup from Jomo Kenyatta International Airport with our professional driver guide from Pelican Tours and travel who will meet abd greet you, he will then brief you about your journey and thereafter drive you to Amboseli National Park which is located in southern region of Kenya and its about 4hours drive.
Upon arrival you will check into your accommodation for relaxation as you wait a Night Game drive later which will start at sunset while giving you a perfect glimpse of the sunset at Amboseli National Park You will go on the drive with an armed park ranger and spotlight torches to help you spot nocturnals while hunting and feeding on their prey like Lions,bat-eared foxes,serval, hyenas,cheetahs,Leopards and also Hippos while feeding on short grass. You will then return then return to your lodge for dinner and an overnight.

After delighting delicious breakfast, you will start day 2 of you 9Days Safaris as to Kenya Maasai Mara & Zanzibar Extension with an early morning game drive . You will drive through the dry savannah plains in search for wildlife species like elephants, Wildlife species like dik-dik, kudus jackals bat-eared foxes,fringe-eared Oryx,Long-necked gerenuks among other mammals while enjoying the stunning views of Africa’s highest snow-capped Mount Kilimanjaro in the backdrop incase the weather plays along. You will proceed to the Maasai community living around the park to enjoy an Authentic Maasai experience later return back to your accommodation

Your day 3 day of the 9 Days Safari to Kenya Maasai Mara & Zanzibar Extention will start with an early morning mouthwatering breakfast breakfast and thereafter check out of your accommodation and proceed for a morning game drive as you exit the park. You will encounter various mammals that you missed out on your previous game drive and then transfer to lake Naivasha which is a 5 hours’drive from Amboseli as you enjoys the scenic views of the Great Rift valley ,we shall have a stopover for picture moments and then continue to Navaisha.
Upon arrival, you will check into your lodge for a hearty lunch and then later embark on a rejuvenating boat ride on this Great Rift Valley fresh water lake amidst various hippos to crescent island.You will have various wildlife to view while at crescent island includibg zebras,girrafes,elands,wildebeest,impala,waterbucks among others. Later you will return back to your accommodation for your dinner and overnight.

Your day 4 of the 9 Days safaris to Kenya Maasai Mara & Zanzibar Extension will begin with a hot delicious breakfast and thereafter check out of your lodge and transfers to Maasai Mara National Reserve which is about 4 hours drive from lake Naivasha . Upon arrival, you will check into your accommodation for a hearty lunch and have rest . Later you will proceed for an evening to night game drive with an armed park ranger and spotlight torches to help you see nocturnals in the dark as they hunt for their prey like lions, leopards,hyenas,cheetahs and also Rhinos ,Elephants,Hippos while feeding on short grass. Return back later to your lodge for dinner and an overnight.

Day 5 : Maasai Mara National Reserve – Full day Game Drive
After your delicious breakfast, you will embark on a full day game drive your packed luch which will give you an encounter with mammal species like zebras, wildebeests,hippos,giraffes,duikers,impala hartebeests,leopards,lions,hyenas. Later in the evening hours returns back to your lodge with an amazing game drive which will give you you sights of more wildlife species to spice up your day. You will then have your dinner and an overnight.

Your day 6 of your 9 Days Safari to Kenya Maasai Mara & Zanzibar Extension will start with an early morning lovely breakfast and thereafter check out of the lodge and proceed to the park to have an encounter with the Big 5 mammal species including elephants,lions,leopards,buffaloes,rhinos.You will as well encounter more mammals like hippos,giraffes,duikers,impala heartbeests, roan antelopes ,topi wildebeest and Thomson’s gazelles among others . Later you will have you delicious lunch and catch a flight to Zanzibar to relax with amazing and beautiful landscapes.

Your day 8 of the 9 Days Safaris to Kenya Masai Mara & Zanzibar Extension will start with a mouthwatering breakfast and thereafter drive to jozani forest which is located in the south east of stones Town.You will go on guided nature walk which will get you close to the red colobus monkeys,birds species and also butterflies.You will have your lunch and transfer to kae sunset beach where where you will spend the rest of the day relaxing at the beach.
