The 4 Days Amboseli Tsavo West and Tsavo East Tour is an incredible Safari Experience that takes you to the renowned National parks of Kenya having abundant wildlife and therefore get ready to enrich your Kenya . Amboseli National Park is located in the Southern region of Kenya in Loitoktok district. The park got its name from a local word in Maasai language meaning “Salty dusty place.” The park covers an area of 392sqkm and it is heavenly endowed with large herds of elephants making it the best place in Africa to get up-close to free ranging elephants. It boosts of various species of mammals like Lions, elephants, Wildebeest, Leopards, Zebra, Hippo, Giraffe, hyenas, cheetahs, wild dogs, hartebeests, dik-dik, kudus, jackals, bat-eared foxes, fringe-eared Oryx, long-necked gerenuks, serval, warthogs and yellow baboon. Also has various bird species of about 400 species including pelicans, crakes, kingfishers, lily-trotters, egrets, hammerkops, rare Madagascar squaco, among others.

Tsavo West National Park

Also known as the “land of Larva, springs, Man Eaters and Magical Sunsets” is located in the Southeastern part of Nairobi along Nairobi-Mombasa highway. The park covers an area of 9,065sqkm making it the second largest National park in Kenya established in 1948. The park is home to large herds of Africa’s Big Game like lions, leopards, black and white rhinos, Leopard, Elephant, Cheetah, Wild dogs, Buffalo, Giraffe, Mongoose, Zebra, Crocodile, Hyrax, Lesser Kudu, Dik- dik, and Nocturnal Porcupine making it home to the Big 5 Mammal species. It also boosts of over 400 bird species including river warbler, red-backed shrike, Easter black-headed oriole, marsh warbler,  African fin-foot, starlins, corncrake, golden pipit, pangani long claw, Basra reed warbler, Shelley’s sterling, pied kingfisher, golden palm weaver, Somali ostrich, taita fiscal, taita falcon, Narina trogon, martial eagle, lesser kestrel among other bird species.

Tsavo East National Park

Known as the “Theater of Wildlife” is located in the Southwest part of Nairobi with an area of 13,747sqkm. The park is one of the oldest National parks of Kenya establishes in 1948. Tsavo East National Park is home to larger mammals and vast herds of dust–red elephant, buffalo, lion, leopard, Rhino, pods of hippo, crocodile, Lesser Kudu, waterbucks, Gerenuk among others. The park also boosts of over 500 recorded species of birds like vulturine guinea fowl, Eastern chanting goshawk, red-winged lark, black headed lapwing, rosy-patched bush shrike, red-bellied parrot, Somali bee-eater, Somali ostrich, taita falcon, red-bellied parrot, martial eagle, golden pipit, taita fiscal, Rufous chatterer among others.

Tour Plan

The 4 Days Amboseli Tsavo West and Tsavo East Tour will start with a pick up from Jomo Kenyatta International Airport or your Hotel by our professional driver guide from Paradise Adventure Vacations who will meet and greet you, he will then brief you about the journey and thereafter transfer you to Amboseli National Park which is located in the Southern region of Kenya. This drive will take about 5 hours and upon arrival, you will check in for your delicious lunch and then later in the evening, you will go for an evening game drive with scenic views of Mountain Kilimanjaro which creates a magnificent backdrop in the Park. During the game drive, you will have an opportunity to spot lions, zebra, cheetah, antelope, buffalo, wildebeest, and the giraffes. You will then return to your accommodation for your dinner as well as an overnight.

Drinking Water and Fruits Throughout the journey

On waking up on your day 2 of the 4 Days Amboseli Tsavo west and Tsavo East Tour, you will have your delicious breakfast and thereafter check out of the lodge and proceed for a morning game drive. You will drive through the dry savannah plains in search for wildlife species like elephants, Wildebeest, Leopards, Zebra, Hippo, Giraffe, warthogs, hyenas, cheetahs, wild dogs, hartebeests, dik-dik, kudus, jackals, bat-eared foxes, fringe-eared Oryx, long-necked gerenuks among other mammals while enjoying the stunning views of Africa’s highest snow-capped Mount Kilimanjaro in the backdrop, you will continue with your drive to Tsavo West National Park which is about 2 hours from Amboseli National Park. You will check into your accommodation for a delicious lunch and then later you will visit the Ngulia rhino sanctuary which is found at the base of Ngulia hills. The sanctuary is a habitant to 80 black rhino individuals and they are easily spotted in their natural state. You will later have your dinner and overnight at the lodge.

Your day 3 of the Safari will have an early morning hot breakfast, check out of your lodge and proceed for a sunrise game drive. You will explore the park while enjoying sights of mammal species including  lions, leopards, black and white rhinos, Leopard, Elephant, Cheetah, Wild dogs, African Buffaloes, Giraffe, Mongoose, Zebra, Crocodile, Hyrax, Lesser Kudu, Dik- dik among others. You will continue with your drive to the Mzima springs where you will take beautiful memorable pictures as you exit the park. Drive to Tsavo East National Park which is about 3 hours from Tsavo West National Park. Upon arrival you will check into your accommodation for a delicious lunch and have relaxation. Later, you will go for a game drive until sunset which will give you sights of the large herds of buffaloes and dust-red elephants wallowing, rolling and spraying each other with the midnight blue waters of palm-shade Galana River. You will also see large mammals like Rhinos, buffaloes, lions, leopards, pods of hippos, side-striped jackal, lesser Kudu, gerenuk, crocodiles, and waterbucks. Return back later to your lodge for dinner and an overnight.
